1. Tayrona National Natural Park

This protected area is a true masterpiece by Mother Nature and a perfect place for ecotourism. The park has mangroves, creeks, beaches, reefs, and even ruins. It offers a wide range of activities, including hiking, watching birds and animals, diving, and more.
The park is 20 miles from Santa Marta.

2. Ciudad Perdida

It’s time for the mystery. Ciudad Perdida is the archaeological site of an ancient city hidden in the mountain range, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Although you need at least four days to do the hike to the Lost City, a helicopter tour is a great way to take a bird’s eye view of the area.
