Beginning Of The Mediterranean Cruise

Sergey Dolya • 3 minutes read • March 25th, 2016

Pisa, Monaco, Barcelona, Palma-de-Majorca, Carthage, Palermo and Naples,

Rome

is the route of the May cruise. this was the route of my May cruise. Arriving at the Fiumicino Airport in Rome and later going to

Civitavecchia, a city 50 miles (80 km) from

Rome, which served as a seaport for 18 centuries.

Early morning in Italy:

Local police officers on patrol:

Sailors who just arrived on the coast stopping to buy the morning paper:
The town of

Civitavecchia

:

Bakers wake early to sell their bread and other goods:
Cheeses:
Sausages:
Old men playing cards on the bank:

Laundry is dried on washing lines:
Waves crashing against the rocks in Сivitavecchia:
Fishing store:
Boarding the MS Noordam:

The magnificent view of the pier from the ship:
The next stop is in the small Tuscan town of Livorno, Pisa and Florence. Tours include visiting the famous leaning tower of Pisa. The rocking of the ship is a similar feeling to climbing the nation of the tower.
