The next stop of our bus tour of

Brussels

is an observation deck.
There is a monument to people killed in various wars.

Brussels

can be clearly seen from this high point. Even the Atomium can be seen!
4brussels-observation.jpgHere's a closer view:
5brussels-observation.jpgThe green dome of the National Basilica of the Sacred Heart can be seen far to the right.
6brussels-observation.jpgHere's a closer view. If we have some free time in Brussels, we will go there.
7brussels-observation.jpgLet us continue. These are just Brussels streets:

11brussels-observation.jpgI saw this tour bus nearby:
12brussels-observation.jpgWe went to the

Grand Place

square which is the main square in the center of Brussels. There are many beautiful historic buildings. These buildings are very tall and located close to each other!
There are a lot of tourists! It was difficult to take photos but I'll show you a few to give a general idea.
This is the town hall:
13brussels-observation.jpgBeautiful houses of different guilds are placed to the right and left of the town hall.
14brussels-observation.jpg15.jpgThere is the Bread House or the House of the King to the right. Though the Grand Place is small, there are a lot of tourists, and there were various exhibitions open that day. I'll tell you about it later.
16.jpgAdjacent to the Grand Place, there is a bas-relief on the wall - Saint Michael and his dog. There's a tradition to touch it and make a wish :)
17brussels-observation.jpgI made a wish and went on further staring around :)
18brussels-observation.jpg19brussels-observation.jpg20brussels-observation.jpgWe were walking for a long time and came to the well-known symbol of Brussels, the Manneken Pis.
