Sea Life Center is a very interesting place in

. The habitats of different marine life were quite impressively recreated there, complete with decorations and lights. Everything is moving, playing, waves are crashing, you can hear cries of seagulls, and relaxing "underwater" music in some places. I got there by chance and I was satisfied, I saw moray eels, lobsters, sharks, rays, touched different mollusks. Visiting this exhibition was included in the ticket, and initially, I was going to the

was opened in December 2003. There is an aquarium in the lobby of the hotel called "Radisson SAS" (Karl Liebknecht Straße). If I'm not mistaken, this is the largest aquarium in the world. Inside, there is an elevator, which moves up and down in a transparent inner cylinder. Some hotel rooms have windows with a view of this aquarium. Accuracy of this cylinder's manufacture amazed me, taking into account the water pressure that has to be contained and the complexity of the installation. The outer cylinder is made up of 26 separate acrylic blocks which were stuck together at the installation site by using a special polymer adhesive. Seams of the adhesive joints were carefully ground and polished. As a result, the finished product looks completely monolithic. The inner cylinder for the elevator was made of 15 panels. Development of the Aquarium was carried out by International Concept Management, Inc.
