Celebrity Silhouette is a Solstice-class cruise ship, owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises.
Celebrity Silhouette is the fourth ship in the Solstice class, her sister ships being Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Reflection. Solstice, Equinox, and Eclipse entered service in 2008, 2009, and 2010, respectively. Silhouette was launched in 2011, and Reflection, the final ship in the Celebrity Solstice series, launched in 2012.
The ship is scheduled to undergo a dry dock in January 2020.
The fourth of five ships in the Solstice class, Celebrity Silhouette was constructed by Meyer Werft at their shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Celebrity Silhouette is built to the same design as the preceding three ships. The completed ship is 319 metres (1,047 ft) in length overall, with a beam of 36.8 metres (121 ft), and a tonnage value of 122,400 gross tons. Celebrity Silhouette carries 2,885 passengers.
The vessel's name was publicly announced on 21 December 2009. The ship was launched in 2011.
