If you are reading this article, probably, you’re getting ready for a Disney cruise. Or you are a true cruise lover who wants to know everything about everything. Concerning cruises, of course. Anyway, we hope this information will be useful and will save you a lot of time since we’re going to talk about
Disney Cruise Dress Code
and figure out what you should pack for your adventure.
First of all, of course, you should consider the destination you are going to explore on the Disney Cruise Line's ship. Sundresses, skirts, t-shirts, shorts, golf shirts would be an excellent choice to enjoy the warm Caribbean sun. However, if you want to get acquainted with the Last Frontier, all of the above would be inappropriate. For the Alaskan adventure, you should pack your favorite cozy sweater, jumper, jacket, hat, gloves, and other warm clothes.
Well, we are sure you know all this. It’s just a reminder.
You can freely wear whatever you want on the ship. Your comfort, ease, and self-confidence are above all. Of course, your outfit should be appropriate to the situation. It's clear that the swimsuit should be by the pool and not in the dining room. However, don’t forget that this is the Disney voyage so that you can fantasize a little bit.
Of course, the question on everyone’s mind is Disney Cruise dress code for dinner. We’d like to talk about this in more detail.
In fact, most dining venues on the company’s liners are “cruise casual,” so you are free to wear your casual attire (just remember – no swimsuits and tank tops!). The only exceptions are the Disney’s adult-only restaurants, Palo and Remy, and we’ll discuss this question later.
As for Disney Cruise Formal Night, there are several optional theme nights when you can choose some special attire. That is, the Disney cruise doesn’t have a compulsory formal night, but we highly recommend you become a true participant of unique evenings that the company prepared for you. What for? To take fantastic family pictures, to plunge into the special atmosphere, to make the evening unforgettable.
Now let’s return to Disney Cruise Line dress code for the cruise company’s dining venues for guests 18 years and older. Rules are a bit stricter in Palo and Remy. Since the atmosphere in these restaurants is more formal, to make this dining experience even more special, all guests are required to leave everything they wear on a beach or by the pool and put on, for example, elegant dresses, skirts or pants with a blouse, trousers with a collared shirt, etc. Jackets and ties are optional.
If you didn’t prepare for the unique evening in advance, you can purchase or rent evening attire right on the liner.
But the most important thing is to remember that this is not an ordinary sailing but the Disney cruise, an exciting journey into the fairy tale. That’s why first of all, you should be comfortable and feel like a princess or a prince of this cruise.
