Come Hiking in a Natural Cave System Followed by a Swim at a Swimming Hole Fed by an Underground Spring!

Hiking in a cave system is a much better way to do a cave tour as you will be able to see a lot more of these fascinating structures. As you hike you will learn about how the ancient Mayans lived and used the caves as their religious places of worship. Your tour starts with a pickup at the cruise terminal and a scenic drive from Belize City to the jungle. It's a 15 minute hike through the jungle on an uneven but cleared path to the entrance of the St. Herman's cave. We will hike through the caves with head flashlights. Water shoes or waterproof hiking boots are recommended as there can be wet spots. After arriving back at the parking lot we will drive over to to a natural sink hole swimming spot fed by an underground spring. It's a very unique spot and the perfect place to swim after the hike!
