On October 12, P&O Cruises officially took delivery of its newest P&O Iona cruise ship at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. She is the first LNG-powered cruise liner in the British market and the largest cruise liner ever built for the cruise company and the UK market.

Recently, P&O Cruises also announced that their newbuild would have the world’s first gin distillery at sea. Wow, that’s impressive.

Fincantieri delivered the new member of Silversea Cruises’ fleet, Silver Moon, on October 30, 2020. An intimate ceremony took place at the shipyard in Ancona, Italy.

Finally, an incredible transformation of Star Breeze is over. The stretched representative of Windstar Cruises is back in her family. The cruise line took the delivery of its renovated ship at Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo, Italy, on November 17, 2020.

On November 19, 2020, Celebrity Cruises celebrated the keel-laying ceremony for Celebrity Beyond, its future addition. Traditionally the cruise ship also got her lucky coin. Celebrity Beyond is expected to enter service in Spring 2022.

In the meantime, AIDA Cruises is ready to operate the Canary Islands sailings. AIDAperla intends to open her Canary Islands season on December 5, 2020.
