We finally arrived in

Pisa

. There were a lot of attractions, but we had to be in Florence at 1.30 p.m. The trip would take approximately 1.5 hours. We had about 2.5 hours of free time.

This beautiful church stood by the waterfront!  This is Santa Maria della Spina. It was built in the 13th century, on a sandy river bank. It was often flooded during rainy seasons. In 1871, it was dismantled and erected again here.

We passed over the bridge and could already see the dome of the Cathedral, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa! There was a botanical garden on the right.
