Currently, the ship operates Caribbean sailings from San Juan, Puerto Rico. From May to November 2018, she will offer various Europe sailings. From November 2018, she'll operate various Caribbean cruises.

In April 2016, Jewel of the Seas completed a bow-to-stern, 20M GBP ($30M USD) renovation that give guests new staterooms including two-bedroom family suites and 24 new balconies, three new restaurants/wine bar (Giovanni’s Table (deck 6), Vintages (deck 6), and Izumi (deck 12)), a large poolside movie screen (deck 11) and tech upgrades, including improved broadband internet service.
