Just Amsterdam. P.2.

Sergey Dolya • 3 minutes read • March 23rd, 2016
You can sail along the canals on an open boat and admire the rickety gingerbread-like houses of

Amsterdam

:

Sometimes the entrance to houses is located in the basement:

People come to this restaurant either by boat or on a bicycle:

The side-streets are very narrow:

Cars with broken windows can be seen often in

Amsterdam

:

Street cleaning vans vaccuum up any debris and then wash the street with shampoo:

Horses stand in a line with taxis:

A 'Vodka Museum' is sure to attract attention:

The museum is in fact just an ordinary vodka shop:

Vodka bottles are decorated with Dutch accents:

Amsterdam is home to the famous Red Light District, a crime against the Ministry of Tourism in the Netherlands. The district is situated near three parallel canals connected by narrow streets. Within the district, there are many different

sex shops, adult theaters and video salons.
The main attraction are the windows that are illuminated by a red fluorescent backlight, where young women stand:

Windows that are dark mean that the girl is 'unavailable'. Illuminated windows showcase girls who try to lure in passersby.

Notice the grey structure in the picture below; a male restroom:
The public bathroom can accommodate three people :

The Red Light District also houses many 'coffee shops' where you can smoke different types of marijuana:
