Los Angeles. P.1.

Sergey Dolya • 3 minutes read • November 11th, 2015

Today I begin a story about our trip to the USA. Universal Studios Theme Park, Las Vegas, the world's largest exhibition of electronics CES, an exhibition of achievements of the porn industry, Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Arches National Park in Utah and San Francisco are all waiting for you...
Right after landing I looked out the window and counted as many as 8 air crafts landing at the same time:

Despite the fatigue, we decided to try to adjust to the local time zone and, instead of the deserved sleep, went to take photos of the city at night:

The next morning, we got into the car and went to get acquainted with the city famous from many films. Winter, low, contrasting sun turned the majority of the photos in dull, lifeless pictures that I couldn't save even with the help of intensive post processing:

Sunset Boulevard

:

Malibu:

Santa Monica Pier. I have seen it in the movies many times, but now can't remember any of them.

Big waves, shimmering with steel hues, were running on the pier and braking on numerous supports:

Locals were fishing:

From the pier we went to Rodeo Drive - street with the most expensive shops. It was here where beautiful Julia Roberts bought her brown polka dot dress:

There's a hotel where on the top floor relationships between Richard Gere and Julia were developing:

I still have not figured out how the local traffic lights operate:
