Mexico. Tour Around Cabo San Lucas

It's great to have friends in every corner of our planet. My friend offered to meet us in the tiny Mexican port of

Cabo San Lucas

and spend the day together! How could we refuse?!
My friend met us at a pier, where we were transported by a tender, and our ship was in the roads nearby.
To start exploring, we went along the beautiful beaches; we wanted to swim. The pink beach amazed with its beauty!
We were really sorry for a pelican chick! This poor dear swallowed a sea urchin and was silently suffering. We asked the seller of colored scarves to take the bird to the vet, he refused!
His parents were anxiously peering at the situation from an island in the sea.
To forget these troubles, we went to look at cacti - the most beautiful flowers in the world! Look, they look the same as roses!
We returned to the

. It's a small, beautiful harbor surrounded by souvenir shops, jewelry stores and restaurants.
Yachts were all beautiful!
We saw one yacht, returning from a boat tour with young people.
And there were a lot of pan-handlers following the stern!
Can you see that (this is an enlarged fragment of the previous photo)?!
Birds kicked a fur seal out! He had already gone back home, in the sea, but he managed to turn up after another yacht in time.
We also decided that it was time to eat. We went to a local restaurant, catered toward locals, not tourists. Food was served in tortillas - tapas had stuffing inside (shrimps, beef, chicken). It should be seasoned with an avocado sauce  (it is the same oil, but much healthier!) and eaten with a spicy blend of tomatoes, onion, and herbs. Oh, what a burning mix! We washed it down with a cold beer!
Then we went to ride a boat. It was a wonderful trip!
We saw a rookery of seals.
If we had more time, we would have also rented a jet ski!
But we weren't holiday makers - we were tourists. Moreover, the day was coming to an end. We sailed past Playa del Amor - Lover's Beach - (this is a view from the Sea of Cortez).
We rounded the cape with brown pelicans.

It was a wonderful day!
