Night Riga

Gian Luka • 3 minutes read • November 9th, 2016

Riga

is a very comfortable and beautiful city for the evening and night walks. Both for cultural and romantic ones and for the "race through bars". We decided to combine these two styles. ;)
There are beautifully illuminated bridges in Riga.

City Canal is very beautiful at night. I love cities with waterbodies!

Deserted streets and beautiful lights are fascinating!

People canoe on the city canal at night! This is really cool!

It's such a kind of romantic sport.

Beavers swim from the River Daugava to the canal! There are a lot of them and they gnaw trees near the canal with pleasure.

Alleys of

Riga

are even more beautiful at night than in the daylight.

Sometimes you can meet traffic on them, but mostly they are just for pedestrians.

Here's the center of the Old Town.

Can you see the window on the right from the face? This is the window with geranium from the chic Soviet film "17 moments of spring".

And here's the famous door "221 Baker Street".

There are many different festivals, concerts and other "mass cultural" events in Riga at the weekend.

It was possible to refresh yourself at this concert.

House of the Blackheads

is especially beautiful at night.

We accidentally got in the courtyards of some old hotel. We liked this place very much.

Here are arches, passages of Riga... They fill the city with some special charm.

Well, the Old Town in Riga at night is very beautiful and cozy. If you are in the city - give yourself this treat! ;)
