is almost here. Norwegian Cruise Line is actively preparing for the delivery ceremony that will take place at the end of this month. The whole cruise world holds its breath. Cruise lovers from every part of our planet are counting the days till they step aboard the NCL’s newbuild. Well, there’s no surprise in that. After all, one of the most revolutionary new cruise ships 2019 is going to join her fleet soon.

Traditionally, we’ll start with newbuild's general characteristics.
Norwegian Encore is a representative of the company’s Breakaway Plus family of cruise liners. She has a tonnage of 169,145 GT and a capacity of almost 4,000 travelers.
The vessel has 20 decks, 16 of which are open to passengers.
She will accommodate her guests in 2,043 staterooms in 42 categories. By the way, the liner has 82 cabins for solo travelers.
Norwegian Encore’s onboard amenities include numerous dining venues, lounges and bars, several pools and whirlpools, waterslides, and various public spaces for travelers of all ages. Her largest race track at sea, Laser Tag, and Galaxy Pavilion deserve special mention.
Well, it’s time to check a picture story of the ship’s construction.
The first steel for Norwegian Encore was cut on January 31, 2018 at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
Her delivery is planned for October 30, 2019. On November 2, 2019, Norwegian Encore will depart from Southampton on her maiden voyage that will end in New York. The liner will be christened by a famous American singer, Kelly Clarkson. The ceremony will take place in Miami on November 21, 2019. Than Norwegian Encore will start her fall/winter 2019 season in the Caribbean. The first cruise from Miami will depart on November 24, 2019.
By the way, currently, NCL is completing the construction of a new cruise terminal in PortMiami. So the groundbreaking ship will welcome her guests at the state-of-the-art terminal.
