Traditionally, we’ll start with newbuild's general characteristics.
Norwegian Encore is a representative of the company’s Breakaway Plus family of cruise liners. She has a tonnage of 169,145 GT and a capacity of almost 4,000 travelers.
The vessel has 20 decks, 16 of which are open to passengers.
She will accommodate her guests in 2,043 staterooms in 42 categories. By the way, the liner has 82 cabins for solo travelers.
Norwegian Encore’s onboard amenities include numerous dining venues, lounges and bars, several pools and whirlpools, waterslides, and various public spaces for travelers of all ages. Her largest race track at sea, Laser Tag, and Galaxy Pavilion deserve special mention.

Well, it’s time to check a picture story of the ship’s construction.

The first steel for Norwegian Encore was cut on January 31, 2018 at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

Her keel-laying ceremony took place on November 28, 2018.

At the beginning of 2019, the ship looked like this.

In just a couple of months, she has become beautiful.

BTW, Norwegian Encore’s hull art by Spanish artist Eduardo Arranz-Bravo was inspired by his hometown Barcelona and by his love for the ocean.
