Osaka. Midosuji Festa

Nefer • 3 minutes read • October 11th, 2016
After

Shitenno-ji

 and

Sumiyoshi Taisha

(Osaka. Sumiyoshi Taisha), we decided to take a break from attractions and just walk around the center. We got out from the subway, saw a lot of people all around, the traffic is blocked, the music is screaming, someone is beating the drum somewhere. We cork-screwed to see what was going on. It was some festival, maybe something like City Day, I do not know.

I've even filmed it.

It seems to be the rock-climbing competition. Just imagine, it's happening right on the building, from the outside!

It was impossible to get there through the crowd of photographers, we even didn't try. We looked at girls from backside.

Here we read what kind of event it was.

Dotonbori-gawa River flows between buildings.

And it turned out that we were walking along the boulevard called

Midosuji

. That's why the festival was called so.

It was the Minami district - a boiling cauldron of shops, restaurants, and hotels. You can find here boutiques of such monsters like Luis Vuitton, Max Mara, and Chanel. In the next part, we'll have a walk along the street called Dotombori and visit the Amerikamura quarter (Osaka. Dotombori And Amerikamura).
