Rome

, 'the eternal city', one of the oldest capitals of the world. Moreover, on the basis of photos taken a year ago for a personal photo album. Therefore, this article will be less informative than my usual writings. You will see a set of photos with a few comments:

Castle Sant'Angelo. Exactly in a cafe near its walls was filmed the scene from the famous film 'Roman Holiday':

Roman

Coliseum

. Outside it you can take pictures with the actors. First they announce the price of 10 Euros, and after shooting they add that to each of them.

Statue of Romulus and Remus - founders of Rome, suckled by a she-wolf:

Trevi Fountain

:

Spanish Steps:

At the entrance to one of the cathedrals hangs an interesting sign:

Cathedral Of Santa Maria Maggiore:

It is dark inside the Cathedral, but you can throw a Euro in a special machine and in 1 minute the light will flash under the ceiling:

Piazza del Popolo
Road to the Vatican:

Inside the St. Peter's Basilica:

Balcony under the dome:

To the very dome leads a narrow hallway with 'bent' walls. From the top opens a beautiful views of St. Peter's Square:
