It's inconvenient to take pictures, everything is reflected.

We are moving from one room to another.

There's the semi-darkness in most rooms and the photos appear to be dark.

We explored rooms of the

Royal Palace

. Now we are going in the museum called Tre Kronor.
21sweden-stockholm-p6.jpgIn the 12th century, there was a castle on the site of the Royal Palace. Its spire was decorated with 3 crowns. This fact has given the name to the museum. It is also used in the coat of arms of Sweden. The castle burned down in 1697. The current Royal Palace was built in its place in the 18th century.

One can see that castle history on this wall.

Here's the fire of 1697.

The wall of the old castle has been preserved. It was 6 meters high and 6 meters wide. Now this wall is the entrance to the museum.

Here's a model of the old castle. There's not enough light, so the pictures are dark and blurred.

This is a plan of an old fortress that was rebuilt into the castle.
