Sydney From Cruise Liner

Sergey Dolya • 3 minutes read • November 19th, 2015

In this post I have collected photos taken during the cruise from

Sydney

to Singapore. Here is how Australia looks like from the sea:

Our liner:

Departure in

Sydney

:

From the Bay we were led by the pilot with boat escort, which was pushing away all the boats, freeing up the channel for us:

It was literally pushing some yachts:

Entrance to the ocean:

Sydney:

Leaving Cairns:

Way through the

Great Barrier Reef

with marking:

Sherrard island. Amazing place. The land here juts out from the ocean only on 20 centimeters, meanwhile there is a couple of tens of kilometers to the nearest land from here:

Waters of Australia were not very hospitable. The weather was cloudy almost all the time and the ship was strongly rocking:

The Torres Strait between Australia and Papua New Guinea. It was here that captain Nemo stranded his Nautilus:

Very strong wind was blowing. I didn't allow my children to go out on the deck - I was afraid they would be blown off:
