The City Of Aarhus. P1

So, the city is called

Aarhus

. This is second city largest in Denmark after Copenhagen.
On the one hand, this is the "youngest" city in Denmark (due to the large of number of students), and on the other, it’s quite old, since its history can be traced back to the 13th century. In those days, it was probably not a city, but a Viking village But still . . .
By the way, the Vikings didn’t completely disappear from the city. Once a year they gather here again - and this is perhaps one of the main attractions of the city.
A month ago, over one weekend, the fall weather was perfect and we decided to go for a walk through one of the city parks.
We decided to take a walk in the park, on the territory of which is the

Marselisborg Slot

, the Queen's summer residence.
During our visit, when the royal family was absent, it was open to the public.
The park was very nice.
Here's the castle.

There's a whole string of different beaches, forests, and parks on the other side.

Moesgard museum

(and the beach).
"Vikings" are not only from Denmark, but also from neighboring countries. Very enthusiastic people come for a few days and live in tents (in the Viking Teltows), trying to comply with the conditions of life in those times.
Apart from the usual occupations (such as the souvenir trade), the Vikings also perform fights and competitions.
