I will continue talking about

Aarhus :)

First of all, let me tell you a little about

, the city's main cathedral.
This church is the largest in Denmark, both by length and height, 305 and 314 feet (93 and 96 meters) respectively (for 1200 people). Its construction started in 1100.
1thecityof-aarhus.jpg2thecityof-aarhus.jpgThe most interesting site was a "church" ship. In Denmark (and not only in Denmark, but also in some other European countries near the sea) there’s a tradition to place a model of a ship in every church.
The ship model in this church also held the record as the biggest in Denmark.
3thecityof-aarhus.jpg4thecityof-aarhus.jpgThe church is also interesting for its mural paintings, which are the largest by area in Denmark - 2368 sq. feet (220 sq. m).
5thecityof-aarhus.jpg6thecityof-aarhus.jpg7thecityof-aarhus.jpg8thecityof-aarhus.jpgThe altar is the greatest pride of the church.
It was made in 1479 in Lubeck. It is interesting primarily because it can be "rebuilt", as there is a rotating mechanism with 3 different versions - for holidays and every day.
9thecityof-aarhus.jpgThere is a small museum about the Vikings next to the church, in the same place on the square.
It is located in the basement of a bank. By the way, it is free! When the construction works on the bank began, miscellaneous Viking’s items were found. It used to be their settlement.

"Bazaar", which is close to the

City Hall

, was the most interesting.
I highly recommend it. Hand made trinkets were sold there. You can buy a nice souvenir :)

The price is the main advantage.
Drinks are not included in the price.
Here are photos of snack bar.
