The island of St. Kitts.Tour. p.2

We went to the island of St. Kitts

St. Kitts,

together with Nevis, forms an independent federation - the

Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis

The national language is English, cars drive on the left side of the road and the currency is the East Caribbean dollar. But they freely accept US dollars from tourists.

We took a tour around the island by train.

But first, we had to get to the railway station. Leaving the port, the trip took us half an hour.

Herons sat in the trees.

University of Medicine.

Driving along the coast.

For no particular reason!

And then the tour buses arrived. We came to an open field.

Well, not quite in the open field. There were rails. There was also a platform. We waited.

Herons walked next to us.

Points-man is sleeping.

Everything was overgrown with grass.

And here's our train. Previously this road was used for the transportation of sugar cane. Now they don't cultivate sugar cane. And the road was adapted for tourists.

Our train left at 10.30 a.m.

We were prepared and given some drinks. Alcholic-milk cocktails with ice.

School.

Cultivating bananas!

And so we came back. The next group of tourists were already waiting for their turn. The trip took 2 hours.

Going back to the port.

To be continued...
