The Stromboli Volcano

The Italian Stromboli volcano is 3028 feet (923 meters) high and located  is located on a tiny island in the middle of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and it is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Eruptions occur constantly.
Despite its regular eruptions, a small village has called one the slopes of the volcano home:
