First, let’s look at the Mariner of the Seas history and technical characteristics!
Our heroine is a member of the second generation of Voyager-class liners. She was completed in October 2003 and christened on November 14, 2003. The ship departed on her inaugural sailing on November 16, 2003.
Mariner of the Seas has a tonnage of 138,279 GT and a capacity of 3,114 guests and 1,185 crew members. The total number of cabins is 1,557. 939 of them offer ocean views including 765 cabins with balconies. 26 staterooms are wheelchair-accessible.
Currently, Mariner of the Seas operates 3- to 9-night Southeast Asia cruises departing from Singapore. In April 2018, she’s scheduled to take two Middle East Cruises: 13 Night sailing from Singapore to Dubai, UAE and 15 Night sailing from Dubai to Barcelona, Spain. Then she’ll depart on the 13 Night Transatlantic sailing from Barcelona, Spain towards Miami, Florida, USA. Mariner of the Seas will spend 2018 operating year-round 3 and 4 night Bahamas voyages.
