Tour Around Fuerteventura. P.1.

First of all, we got very lucky with the weather - the temperature was 66-79 degrees (19-25 degrees Celsius) 24 hours a day, which was very comfortable. It was sunny the whole week, although sometimes cloudy. The breeze was every day, it was really windy only on one of the days... Secondly, I liked the hotels. Thirdly, everything is cheap there.
There are also beautiful beaches - not many, but they exist.

And this is the end of positive moments.
There's almost no greenery on the

island

... Apart from several oases with tourist spots. If there is a little greenery - it's only in the places where it is well-watered. When you move along the island from one place to another, the views outside the window are really depressing... I understand the Spanish government that used to cast convicts into exile to this island. I also thought that the island could become an excellent prison - it's not even necessary to put people in jail, their stay on the island itself will be a punishment. I don't understand how people live there...

And we were also brought down by nudists everywhere. They were just at every beach!
But I want to start my story with the most beautiful place on

Fuerteventura

- a very touristic place, but with a beautiful beach and flowers around...
As for me, the most beautiful place is

the town of Morro Jable

.
So, let's go...

We saw another beach while on the road.

There is a very long beach in Morro Jable - we were walking there for almost 2 hours and didn't even manage to walk it around. There is a very nice promenade parallel to the beach - with flowers, which is rare for the island.
The sand is white, so the color of the water is so wonderful. And there are places with rocks and sand - so snorkeling is certainly fun there.

There are hotels above this promenade. Just imagine those beautiful views opening from the balconies!

The island is inhabited by charming creatures - it's something between gophers and squirrels.
This is Atlantoxerus getulus. I always brought nuts for them. Just look at this cutie...

The beach is absolutely endless...
First, there are dunes, and the beach is more or less wild. But then, it turns into the more "common" one - with sun umbrellas and other various features for entertainment.

As I have already pointed out, it's nice that there are a lot of different flowers.
I understand that all the flowers were grown by somebody, but it's still nice.

It looks like a fir-tree...

And someone, apparently, joked and even planted tomatoes on the rock...
