Vina Del Mar

Valparaiso

drifted into the more pleasant resort city of Vina del Mar. This is one of the most popular Chilean resorts overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Vina del Mar and

Valparaiso

are considered one large city. The boundary separating them runs along the street. Vina del Mar can be translated from Spanish as "Vineyard by the Sea", but many Chileans simply call it "Vina".
Below is the hallmark of the city.

Many people wanted to be photographed in front of the flower clock, which is a remarkable attraction in the city. The enormous clock of flowers was designed in 1962. The mechanism for the clock was donated by Switzerland, in honor of the World Cup that was hosted in Chile that year.
Construction in the

city

was in full swing.

There was a beautiful waterfront where you can feed the seagulls, pelicans, and sea lions. There were a lot different restaurants and cafes, and beautiful high-rise buildings!

Many hotels on the coast were built in a cascade style.

You can see here how drivers were entertained during traffic. But I didn't see anyone give any money to the man.
