The fortress (

The Castillo San Felipe de Barajas

) has a huge number of underground passages. It is one of the most famous UNESCO world heritage sites in Colombia.

Well, we were going towards the new city. You'll find here beaches and skyscrapers, and a Colombian quiet life.

There are playing children and sunbathing girls throughout the beach.

This is a new district with beaches, apartments and hotels. The rich Colombians live here.

However, the most important thing in Cartagena is, of course, the Old Town. Yellow colonial buildings, women selling bananas in colorful closing. Everything is here.

First, the Spanish killed all Indians, and then their modern descendants have decided to pay kain and put a monument. Catalina is the leader of a local tribe.

Tourists are carried on the animal-drawn transport everywhere.

They even sell curd croquettes. I have never seen street curd croquettes. Only in

I do not know about the rest of Colombia, but Cartagena is absolutely safe. A huge number of tourists walk around this nice colonial city day and night. Children play everywhere.

Adults go to the bar, drink beer and watch salsa.

Many people sail along a lagoon on a sailboat at night.

After strolling around Cartagena for almost 8 hours, I remembered that I did not even have time to have lunch and try the local beer. Overall, Colombia has made a good impression much distant from the one shown in the classic movie with Michael Douglas.)

However, it's time to return on the ship and sail on...
